Yesterday, It was
sunny day, our classmates and teacher took a field trip to visit
Farintosh Farms. This is the first time for me to visit a Canadian farm. All of us met together in TTC Don mills station and happily talked about the refresh
countryside air and fresh vegetables. Farintosh Farms is located just to
the north of Toronto. Only after a little more than 10 minutes’ driving time,
we arrived at the farm. The farm is full of fresh air, vegetables, fruits and plants. There were different kinds of
green vegetables growing in the field to pick fresh. Some classmates picked
beans growing in the field. Others took pictures with beautiful scenes of
trees, crops, farm machines and a dog. There was also one food market. In this
market you could see squash, onions, watermelons, maple syrup, honey, etc. I
bought a bottle of pure Canadian natural honey.
This three-hour trip brought us endless happiness. It was a really nice
trip.
Finally, thanks very much to my classmate Mr. William Song
for the car pool.
